Identifying nonmalignant chronic pain patients who are taking greater than 90 mg morphine equivalents who should be identified for a potential taper. (Under development: Note, migration to Telus PSS will allow for MEQ searches!)<\/p>\n

RE Two indicators below. Both are based on old D2D indicators. Suggest changing as follows:<\/p>\n

CAD: Denominator: Refine searches looking for keywords (Clinicians noted that there is a data quality issue here).<\/p>\n

CAD: Numerator: change definition to “not on statin AND LDL>2″… ie ID at risk patients (Identify patients on both graphs and notify provider)<\/p>\n

Current Definition:?Identifying patients with CAD who either are not on a statin or<\/strong> their LDL is more than 2.0 (two graphs)<\/p>\n

COPD: Numerator: Suggestions?<\/p>\n

Current Definition:?Identifying patients with COPD who are on Advair or Symbicort (who have NOT had an exacerbation event. <– not in yet)<\/p>\n
